Templates
A template is a snapshot of a project that can be used to create future projects. Only team administrators have permission to manage templates.
At the moment, templates are private to your team; meaning they cannot be shared with users outside of your team.
Managing Templates
There are multiple ways to create a template.
- Open the project menu and click Create Template
- In the workspace click File -> Create Template
- In the template dashboard click Create New Template
Using the last method gives you more configuration options for your template. You can set the name, description and category of the new template.
Templates can be updated and deleted.
Instancing projects using templates
Once your template is created you are able to create new projects using it. Click the template options button, and click 'New Project'. A new project will automatically be added to your project dashboard.
Another powerful method to create projects using a template is to copy and share the project link. When clicked by a team member, a project will be created and they will be automatically dropped into the workspace.
