Managing teams and subscriptions

A team is the place where the projects are saved. You can be a part of a larger team to be able to collaborate on projects or you can use your personal team if you are working alone.

When starting Fabella for the first time you first get to select a team. A personal team is created for you automatically.

Member roles

There are three different roles for team members: - Owner - Creator of the team, have full permissions for managing a team and can manage subscriptions/billing and platform links. - Admin - Can create/delete projects and modify team members - Editor - Can see and modify projects assigned to user

Inviting other person to a team

To invite someone to a team you need to be the project owner or admin.

Email Invite

  1. On the dashboard, go to the tab Manage Team.
  2. On the tab Team Users click Invite User.
  3. Click 'Invite via e-mail'.
  4. Enter email address of the user you want to invite.
  5. The invited user will get an email with a link to accept the invitation.
  6. Before the invited user can start working, a license needs to be assigned to them.

Note: Email invites can only be sent to existing Fabella users. Ensure each member of your team creates an account.

An easier way to invite users to your team is to use the Invite via link feature.

  1. On the dashboard, go to the tab Manage Team.
  2. On the tab Team Users click Invite User.
  3. Click 'Invite via link'.
  4. Enable link sharing
  5. Copy and share the link to your friends!

You can disable link sharing at any time. The Default role of any members using the link will be Member. If there are avaliable seats within the team, the new user will be assigned a license automatically.

Note: Link invites can be sent to anyone - even if they are not an existing Fabella user. The invitee will however be prompted to create an account or log in before they can accept the invitation.
